Tattoo artist turned reality star Kat Von D is clearly no stranger to needles or body remodeling. But Makemeheal.com has noticed that every time she makes an appearance, it looks like she’s had more work.

27-year old Kat has been under the knife in the past, getting a nose job that slimmed down the bridge and tip (See Make Me Heal’s story on Kat Von D’s plastic surgery)

As well as rumored breast augmentation. More recently, it seems that Kat has been using facial fillers and Botox, given her recent appearance at a charity gala where she appeared to have a slightly fuller and smoother face than previously.

Board certified Manhattan plastic surgeon Dr David Shafer says, “Kat Von D does not look much different from previous. She may have had additional maintenance fillers or Botox since these usually only last several months to a year.”

I wear makeup every day. What you see is what you get,” says the Mexico-born owner of High Voltage Tattoo in West Hollywood and creator of an exclusive collection for Sephora. “When I get home I take off my heels. That’s about it.”

These days, whether she’s at home, work or at a red carpet event, her face is her own canvas—and testing lab. “Any time I have an idea for a new lipstick shade, I’ll wear it for two or three months and see what I want to change to make it better.”

articulo Kat Von D Exclusive! The night we caught up with her at a Discovery Networks press party, she was trying out a new shade of red while rocking other products from her line, including eye makeup and foundation.

"The Tattoo Liner has an amazing state-of-the art brush so it’s the most precise eyeliner on the planet. The Tattoo Concealer was originally designed to cover up tattoos, but it was so soft and velvety that I’ve been using it all over the place,” she says.

The line also includes shadows, brushes and scents. “We don’t have false eyelashes yet but we’re working on that,” she Von D, who’ll return to TLC with a new round of L.A. Ink episodes next month.

Motley Crue rocker Nikki Sixx has ended his romance with TV tattoo artist Kat Von D. The pair began dating in 2007, following Von D's divorce from fellow tattooist Oliver Peck.

But Sixx has released a statement announcing the love affair is over. He says, "I want to wish Katherine (Kat Von D) nothing but the best in her life. She has loved and inspired the hell outta me and I know I have done the same for her in these almost two years we ruled the earth together.

We are taking a break from our relationship for reasons that we will choose to keep personal. You won't find me saying a bad word about her and I don't believe vice versa... we have too much wonderful history together to ever deface that."
 

Imagine if Fred Durst, Adam D, Varg Vikernes, David Draiman, Kat Von D, Axl Rose, Angela Gossow, Marilyn Manson, Jurgen Toksvig, Gerard Way and Oli Sykes went into the Big Brother house. Here’s days 14 and 15!

Day 14 – Speed nominations Kat Von D sits in the garden. She has been sat quietly for 38 minutes, occasionally slapping herself on the forehead.

Seeing the situation, Fred Durst wanders over and sits besides her. “What’s crack-a-lacking, biatch?” says Durst, folding his arms harshly.

“I just can’t decide which one is better, custard or bicycles,” she says staring at the sky. Durst stares into space before walking away.

Adam D hears the conversation and decides to siphon the last of the houses supply of custard into his neon purple leggings while singing Ini Kamoze’s ‘Here Comes The Hotstepper’.

Kat Von D without tattoos? That could be likened to a doctor without a stethoscope or a lawyer without a briefcase.  Kat Von D without tattoos just isn’t … well … natural.

Kat Von D is the tattoo artist behind LA Ink.  She was introduced to the world when she was cast in Miami Ink, but because of creative differences (and she really didn’t fit in to the Miami scene) she moved back to LA and opened up her own shop.

Kat is one of my favorite tattoo artist.  Although I do not have even one Tattoo, I always have said that if I ever took the plunge, it would have to be Kat Von D that would do the tattoo.

Kat Von D was featured in an ad campaign for Sephora cosmetics.  She was promoting her line of tattoo cover ups.  Face it – there are places and times where you just might need to hide that tattoo.
